I guess I'd vote for another Ody. It's the best of its breed. My friends who just had twins (and had only four door sedans) just bought one. It's amazing the number for family friendly features Honda crams in there. Including the sippy cup refrigerator, etc.

It's a family room on wheels.

Those come with a very different feature set, including purple shag carpeting and a pole.

The advertised lease deal on the CX9 is with $2584 down and $274/mo. Honda is advertising $0 down, $310/mo and $1999 down $259/mo deals, which are both considerably less expensive.

That said, the Honda deals don't get much better than that, but I think there may be a lot more room to move on the CX9. Then, I think there's another $1500 of incentives I can apply after that. Still, $2600 seems like a lot to put down on a lease for a $26000 vehicle, doesn't it?

Seems like you could work Mazda over a little bit because their sales are slow. No?

Which do you guys prefer?

If I wasn't clear, yes, I believe that I should be able do better than the advertised Mazda deal, but I don't think I can do much better on the Honda deal.

On paper, I'm leaning CX-9 and am going to try to drive one this week and start seeing what kind of deal I can work. If its all good, I'll have my wife drive one and we'll see.
