The Individual program, now offered across BMW's full model range in Europe and Asia, is coming to the States, too. Exactly when will depend on negotiations with U.S. dealers. "In Europe and Asia, people are prepared to wait four to six weeks for the personalized car they want," explains Löcker, M's regional sales manager for Europe, "but in the U.S., customers expect to drive it from the showroom straightaway."

Too bad they didn't offer this to us earlier, when the cars were all handsome.
