Viper resources?

Anyone know what the better web resources are for Vipers?

An autotrader check shows plenty of first gen Vipers with low miles under $40k. More tired looking examples abound ~$30k. 1994 models MSRP'd at $54.5k. 65% retained value after 11 model years is nothing to sneeze at. For a car meant for fun on the weekends/non-competitive autocrossing/etc with rubbermelting torque... Keep it in decent shape and it's unlikely to depreciate much from that neighborhood. Then again, will you be paying for it in other ways?

Seems like something worth learning more about...

?

they're as diehard (and helpful) as any other rabid motoring enthusiast group.

likely less pretentious......then again, the rennlist forum is a lot less pretentious than some of the bmw-related boards --why is that?

I'm not going to buy it (or any other one anytime soon). I was reading about the new GTS coupe this morning and just started thinking about why, if you were willing to spend that much money on a weekend car, why not one of them?

because it uses old fashioned cubic inches to make power?

i really like vipers. another weakness. if the dyno's show the c6 427 down on power (overstated instead of understated), the viper is a truly viable alternative.....for "anyone".
