Curious, what does that mean for the person behind you? If you coast into a stoplight, and don't need to apply brakes, do the brake lights ever come on?

I believe the brake lights are triggered by rate of decel, so yes, they come on if you're slowing enough by enabling regen.

What John said. The brake lights come on once it kicks in over a certain threshold.

When I drive an ICE vehicle I go around the first 3 corners way too fast because I forget that I need to hit the brakes.

The layout of that web site is infuriating.

Will $5k also appear in my glove compartment?

Interestingly enough, I have zero desire for track mode. This car has transformed me into a smooth, and somewhat lazy, driver... who occasionally accelerates really, really fast.

I don't know what's going on with that, or the Supercharger thing. Frankly it's pretty irritating.

I also don't really need track mode, though I'm kind of looking forward to parking lot shenanigans when it snows, and maybe autocrossing next year.

I got a free autopilot trial yesterday. So far the trial has confirmed that for my everyday commute it's basically useless.

Really? Interesting. I use it almost every time I drive. I think I've been converted.

Back roads I drive myself. Driving on these roads is actually fun, and EAP is useless anyway.

But highways with reasonably wide lanes and clear lines? Autopilot every time. Highway driving is mindless and EAP works really, really well there. It's not so great with cars merging or changing lanes in front of you, but other than that it's been scary good.

Here's a MT article on the development of it, that talks a little more about how it works and what it does.
