Given the number of these that ended up with lemon/buyback titles, there’s no way in hell I’d buy a used one for basically any amount of money.

Interesting. Generally what types of issues did they have

There was a battery recall that applied to all of them, I think, for improper sealing.

Oh yeah I recall something similar with the taycan. Pretty easy to check if the recall applies and if so has been done though…

At 2 years old look at the price on this one !!

For reference - there is a broker on leasehackr that can get you a new one with MSRP of $111k at effective sale price of $75k on a lease (not sure if all rebates apply to a purchase but you could lease and then buyout later). There is $25k total of incentives on a lease plus you can probably get dealer discount in 10% range.

These things will keep depreciating like a rock (at $63k - still a long way until $0 &#128514 - not sure I’d put my money into buying any luxury EV at this point since the tech will likely change so much in the next 5 years. Lease it to minimize your risk.

Lucid Air RWD at 70k

Agree - I’d lease one . Wouldn’t want to take the depreciation risk of buying one outright on any EV frankly

Random, but Champion Porsche keeps popping up on my Instagram with $17k off Taycan leases. Not surprising as I have been informed that Taycan sales are currently nonexistent.

Wow, that's steep. Then again, they are very expensive. Still love the Sport Tursimo's looks.

It’s not going to be easy to move the existing ones given the improvements in the new ones; steep discounts is about the best you can do.
