1 day: 2 red 550 maranellos on same trip....

.....geezus.

one blew by me and pulled into the News Channel 5 compound. the plate read "celtix". sports anchor? news exec?

then i was chasing one on the pike. those cars make beautiful noises pulling away from tollbooths. they don't seem all that fast, though. i wonder why.

Saw a few today, as well as the new Bentley coupe.

The coupe isn't that great looking....

the bentley isn't or the 550?

i kind of like the 550, but agree with stuka. it's big, heavy and sorta slow.

the fella in town who owns a 308GTS (GTB?) and a new 360, he knows how to drive. that car is hellaciously fast.

550, ha.
You seem to think a lot of high end cars are pieces of... well...

Black one? Saw a black one a couple of days ago cruising down San Felipe.

stukababy has a point, though. he only paid $115k or so for his 996tt and it can keep up with/humble most anything on the planet, but most particularly those cars 175k and up.

Alright, that's an acceptable response. But does that automatically
make all the other high end cars pieces of ****? I mean, those
might not be a "bargain" per say, but still. Kinda unfair to those
other high end cars no? Afterall, they are there for a reason... to
offer choices for the rich high ballers.

I can't think of many sportscars I would want to own over $60K.

GT3
GT2
996TT
360 Challenge Stradale
Ford GT
Gallardo

That's about it. And realistically, I'd be deliriously happy with a GT3 for 100K.
