I recently saw that shark blue car posted on the Lone Star PCA FB page. Edit: Was the car you saw in Houston? Rumor has it that it is the GTS that the former owner of my 997.2 had ordered prior to selling the 911 to me in October ‘21.

Oh I was wrong about Ruby Star; it’s available across the 718 line for the same “special color” price as Shark Blue.

I thought that was Porsche’s original plan. Something was dropped for it, I believe it was Miami Blue?

I feel like Porsche is soon going to get to the point where anything other than maybe Black and White are "special colors" or PTS.

Miami blue was not a standard color for the 718. The Ruby star slot in the color chart was orange when I ordered my car, but I think orange was dropped for a silver or grey color sometime mid year.

I was guessing… I do recall reading several months ago within the PCA that Ruby Star was a replacement for a discontinued color.
