My guess is there have been a number of z3s / z3ms listed lately and I wanted a reserve that had a 70% chance of being met ($11k). I bet if I went no reserve they probably would have taken it.

Regardless, it cleaned up nicely and I fixed everything that needed attention.

That looks great.

It does not surprise me that BaT didn't bite on it, but that's not a strike against the car. BaT has jumped the shark at this point. It's neat to see some of the insane stuff on there, but it's gotten to be a place for shill bidders to artificially inflate the market for specific cars.

+1

Wouldn’t take the rejection too seriously. I bet they didn’t want to take the chance with a reserve. It looks like they have a few other Z3 active right now.

Nice looking machine and at a good price point... Both of my m52tu's, both MY00, one at 50k miles the other at around 70k miles did the VANOS dip/quasi-stall. I never got around to fixing them.

Oh, yeah. My 2001 330i suffered from that...At least, I think it was that E46, of all the ones we owned (4).

I just love the m cloth interior and the euro engine does not suck either.
