Ha ha--there was one for sale on BaT that was local to me (as in, next town over), and I wanted to try and go see it but I didn't have a chance.

This is in Montana but sure is cool.

I have driven one, and also an SL500

I get your point, but the two that I drove were close to new, and both were on German roads.

One this old is not going to be a daily driver, and will probably be a maintenance nightmare. . . but it is unique

Ennis MT, how cool is that? We stayed there for a week when we were doing the RV thing. (Ennis is a family name, on my mother's side)

Some great roads there for a car like that

Muffler delete?? too bad he didn't include engine running in his video

I would have put a 500 dollar bet on RNM, but I would have guessed the bidding would have gone higher than 41.5K
