New Saleen S281
http://www.saleen.com/2005_s281.htm
Looks nice--understated for a Saleen effort. Ditch that rear wing and it would be about right. Not sure what those wheels are, though--probably at least 19s, if not 20s. And I'm not feeling the exhaust. More pics here: http://www.saleenclub.net/2005SaleenMustang/ 38K base price. |

38k? Ouch. At least it is devoid of the silly gills on the SN95 Saleens.
Shrug...it's okay. I never really liked Saleens that much. |

i like that new saleen.
saleen and roush did nice work (SVT cobra wasn't bad) with the ancient platform. it must have been a real serious revelation for them to develop cars based on the new "modern" platform. now you can put the power down plus it handles better PLUS you get decent torsional rigidity. i'm not completely sold yet on the c6 and wouldn't be averse at all to cross shopping some rustangs. i like the stuff that is coming online now.
