For some reason - I find this is mildly appealing. Although I don't envision getting an Audi of that generation.
Will be interesting to see what it goes for.....

I remember reading reviews on those detuned lambo sourced V-10's. None of them where very positive. =(

I thought it was a A6

Yeah V10 doesnt interest me either(M5 too). New 4.0l TT in the new S8 seem like a sweet engine.

This is pretty cool. Found on M5 board. North American E39 full run numbers based on exterior/interior combos. I am one of 249 Carbon/Silverstone cars.

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39...n-spec-m5.html

Now if they could add year to that graph it would be cool to see how many of those 249 are 03's.

If I'm reading that right, mine was the only one ever produced w/ Sterling Gray and Extended Nappa Caramel.

I sold a handful of those over the years and I don't think your car was one of them, so I know yours isn't 1 of 1

It says there were 53 SG/ Heritage Caramel and 1 SG/Extended Nappa Caramel.

Pretty sure mine was extended, the dash was leather, etc. BTW, you very well may have sold it when new, it was an NY/CT area car to start its life I think.

The from what I understand the extended referred to the sport seat leather and the napa was the upgraded leather. They don't break down that chart by adding the code full "full" leather like on the dash and such.

This makes sense as imola silverstone and the two tone blue where only ever available in the sport leather seats and they are all marked extended in that chart.

Edit: UNLESS napa with no extended designation IS full leather. Lol
