Looks like they have a 20% off coupon code, now's your chance.

One difference between the S85 I used to have and the P85 (at least on snows)--if you floor it at 30 mph or so in the new car, it will light up the tires. And not just a little bit.

Apparently Takata has until December 2019 to issue recall notices though -- apparently they will be phasing them based on age of the inflators...
So Tesla announced their first Takata airbag recall today. Recall currently only impacts 2012's but eventually they will recall all 2013-2016 Model S. Apparently only the passenger side airbag needs replacing.

Wait, weren't you the one that told me Tesla don't have model year cars? They just make changes whenever and that it was better that way?

Their changes are good until the cars are literally undriveable because they moved the clock, or something. Then those changes are bad.

Yep. But they still have production dates. Today's recall applies to all cars produced in 2012

Seems the people that actually build Teslas are super creative figuring out ways to park in their shitty parking lot.

I meant to post something about this the other day. WTF is going on in that parking lot.

No wonder they are working so hard on autonomous driving.

So, the Tesla was due for a new set of tires. While they were at it, I had Discount Tire put on the OEM Slipstream wheels I bought a few months ago. I like this look better:

I think the old grille is way better than the current stretched sheet metal.
