Bwahahahaha! You just gotta love it.

http://caranddriver.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=61236

I love how one side dances around the two main questions posed:

•So having a higher Hp/L is better because ________?

•Having made your point, do you also feel that a 500 Hp/L Model Aircraft engine is the pinnacle of engine design?

(BTW, won't be posting much in the next 6 weeks, this electricity class > me)

Hey, blame the folks here for starting it with their 'Fest cross posts. I learned thread redundancy from the masters, after all.

But you'll notice in that thread, Hp/L skeptics were dismissed as "Chevy fans."

It's like a defense mechanism inherent to all specific output fanboys: they assume the critics are all dumestic/GM/Chebby/big block fans, so in a way that somehow makes their criticism and points raised invalid.

To be fair to Shaman, he'd make a great curmudgeon, with his many motorsport exploits and superbike to boot. He's the only One Lap participant I know of that I've seen on these kind of message boards.

Shaman wasn't the guy who made that comment.

It was some random poster with 4 posts.

Shaman is one of my favorite posters along with SLoB.

I do admit to being amused by his command of the english language, though... "in the history of Automotives."

I guess it's better than the average Fanatics homeboy, though. aranoid:
