Have you thought about going with one of those limited use policies like rumatt has for the E46?

It seems like a possibility.

I think I'd rather just simplify and save the money, though I waited too far into the season to put it up for sale and have gotten zero bites. I haven't really marketed it, though. Only posted it three places, none with a ton of traffic.

Yeah at least give American modern a call.

You can do 3,000 or 6,000 miles / year and get an allowance to drive it to work twice a week. 6k miles with work allowance is the most expensive but I'm sure it'll still be else than what you're paying now.
