Saw one last week:

RECYKLD

It was on an early 70s Chevy pickup truck (that was in very good condition)...

I was playing around with the VA plate creator last night.

If I ever get a Tesla, I am getting the first one, below. Just to be an ass.

Part of me really, REALLY wants to do the second one, but I am concerned I'd never be able to drive my car south of the Beltway.

I have one picked out for the Tesla, but won't post until I get it (its still avail in AZ, and I'm hoping its still avail when I go register the Tesla in a few months...).

The plate I'm looking for is already taken in multiple states (including CA and VA) -- so don't want to tip my hat yet...

I have almost the exact same plate on the M5 as I had on my E46 M3. Only the last char changed form a 3 to a 5 and weirdly enough was available.

Can't you buy it now for the Porsche and transfer it?

Nope. Can't get the Alternative Fuel plate for the Porsche. The Alt Fuel plate allows driver-only HOV lane access...

My current plate design is also limited to 6 characters. The one I want for the Tesla is 7...

Here's the Alt Fuel plate:

Here's what I currently have:
