Genesis G70 MT

So, my dad is about to pull the trigger on one of these. I went out to the dealer with him today and got to drive it.

Cons: some turbo lag and lack of grunt at very low revs, but I guess that's any entry level car these days. Shift throws a bit long and clutch take up weirdly deep.

Pros: It basically feels like a modernized E46 otherwise, which is pretty high praise IMO. Sturdy handling and feels light on its feet. Build quality seems quite high.

Overall I like it quite a bit. It's a good looking car, but could do without the chrome engine vents and door handles.

This particular example was delivered into dealer inventory on Saturday.

Cool. I had heard these were supposed to be decent cars.

Looks good. I think i actually prefer that interior to all the competition. Its upscale and modern without being gimmicky or overwrought. Actually does kind of look how the e46 interior woudl look if modernized for today

I didn't ask about requirements, but the Hyundai dealer in my town does not, and will not sell them. Maybe they don't have enough customer satisfaction?

I have to go to a Genesis dealer up in Greer if I want to check one out. (25 miles away)

That's because Genesis is now a brand, not just a model. They have their own dealer network now...

Saw these at the the SF auto show. Very cool inside and out. Great choice.

Don’t think I didn’t see the LMB M5 in the background. =)
