Yeah - I love that color too. While I do like the color of yours - the blue here is awesome. Condition is impressive as well.

As to bidding on this car - No ....
My automotive world is needing to stay 'stagnant' for a bit longer...

E9 still not finished. Will need to pay the balance owed for that when it is.
New house not moved into yet.
New house shop/office building needs to be finished out.
Old house not sold yet.
........ Having two mortgages are such fun. I highly recommend. NOT

With the above - my finances are a bit occupied (so to speak).

And, even if the $$ were there... the E38 is running great -

Still - I'm keeping my eyes open. My perception is that the market has moderated a bit for these cars. Yes, the VERY top of the market is still strong, but the lesser cars seemed to have come down in value a bit... (at least that is my perception)

I did bid on this one - and went right to the end... I bid $26k. Sold for 27.

I went down to Portland to drive it. It was awesome.
Wow - that was (literally) two years ago. Time flies.

Oh well...
Fun to look though. One of these days - might work out.

BaT is really weird. I know some people with pretty nice classic cars that have been rejected by BaT, yet complete garbage like this ends up on there? Weird.

I mean seriously, what is appealing about a 924 with holes drilled in the bumper and 6" fog lights?

I have an incomprehensible affinity for this car. Even in that less than ideal color.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...90e-2-3-16-15/

Also for the 500E and R129 SL.

Me too - just can't get past black though. Don't think I could own a black car.

Literally almost the same exact car I ordered new in 05. Just does not have nav or the rear sun shade. The Interlagos / Cinnamon got soooooo many compliments. Best color combo I’ve had on any car I’ve owned.
