Got a Silverado crew cab today
RX-8 is in for a squeaky driver seat (again) (and some other things that they broke when they tried to fix it last month).
Got a Silverado as a loaner. It's a lot more comfortable than I would have thought. Steering is more rubbery and there is no feel at all...except what your fingers feel of the rubberized wheel itself. No feedback, no kickback, no feel whatsoever. Kinda spooky. But it's big and comfy on the inside. I could see myself towing something with one of these. aranoid: |

You owe it to yourself to at least test drive the Nissan Titan, when you do go looking for a tow vehicle. We're at 18K miles with our Armada, and not one single problem with it so far. It's been flawless, and gets much better mileage than the American non-diesel competition. And thanks to a bottomless pit of torque, this thing tows loads like a mother f@cker.
Or you could go all out, and look at the new Dodge Ram diesel. Sometime soon, they are switching from Cummins to Mercedes diesel powerplant, and torque will up somewhere in the 700 ft/lb range. That's what I've heard. Sounds like an absolute beast. |
