Coverage also varies by card. AMEX is notoriously good about covering stuff.

I charge back something every couple of years. I've never had a denial. PayPal has never *once* covered me.

Paypal almost covered me once as a buyer, but then the seller remedied the situation. So I don't have any hard input.
