Obviously a 992.1? What is your estimated production month?

I do not as of yet know — I got asked if it’s still a go (as in, will I take the allocation).

I’m headed to dealer tomorrow or day after. I haven’t ever had to put money down to hold an allocation, but I prob have to go through the build with them.

To the best I can guess, at times Porsche can allot bonus allocations to dealers? I dont know if this is reality or urban myth, but this is how I grabbed the GT3.

Yep, on RL individuals have recently received 992 allocations for production in April/May. 992.2 production is allegedly not beginning until July/August.

lemming has a manual 992.1 C2S Cab on order, not a T.

Ha- yeah brain fart on my part. Forgot that 992.2 didn't start till summer. Makes sense that there'd be time for another few months worth of allocations. Also guessing that maybe the "waiting lists" for regular 911 allocations might be shortening.

Most dealers are conjoining their 992.1 list with their 992.2 list. To many a C2, C2S, T, 4, 4S, Targa 4, and Targa 4S are a 911 regardless of what Gen it is. Therefore the list lengths do not appear to be shortening. Example, the C2S list at my dealer is still approx 2.5-3 years long.

Gotcha- makes sense. My guess is that some of the opportunties that have seemed to come up (as reported by several people here) to seemingly snag last minute 992.1 allocations could be due to other customers on the waitlist forgoing that chance and deciding to wait for a 992.2.

From what I have been reading there seems to be more individuals wanting a 992.1 due to the high probability of 48V, no manual, and the full glass instrument cluster. The 48v and the no manual have many worried and rightfully so.
