It goes wonderfully in the snow. The E class feels quite a bit more sure footed than the E46.

If that's too expensive, why not a 2006 Magnum SRT-8?

Sure, it's down about 50 hp, but it's also less than half the price.

I actually saw one a couple weeks ago. I work close to a car mag, I forget the name. But they are always testing new BMW's, P-cars, Mercs and the likes. It was a very nice dark blue. Now thats HAULING groceries!!
