Need snow tires

I'm back to needing snow tires for my BMW. Of course, I just unloaded my last set of M3 snow tires earlier this year, though I haven't really paid attention to whether they'd fit my new car.

So, longshot Q--anyone looking to unload a set of BMW wheels that might fit an F80 M3? 18s or 19s.

Stock offset is:
Summer wheels

- 9x18 (ET29) +10x18 (ET40), Style 513M

- 9x19 (ET29) +10x19 (ET40), Style 437M

Winter wheels

- 8,5x18 (ET27) +9x18 (ET29), Style 640M

- 9x19 (ET27) +9x19 (ET29), Style 641M

I actually had a line on a set locally, but the guy sold them before I could see them.

Would 4x 8.5x18 work?

TRM (Tire Rack Motorsport) C4
Black
5x120 30ET

Someone else has first dibs on them and I'll know by Sunday next week if they're going to take them.

They were cheap new. They'll be cheaper used.

LOL at "Tire Rack Motorsports." Maybe, yes? These are from the Camaro, I take it--any idea what the center bore is?

Camaro, yes. Not sure what the wheel center bore is, but the Camaro's is 67.1mm. The wheels came with centering rings that I never used. Can't get to them to measure until morning.

I would always choose Michelins over Pirellis. Have had good luck with various Al-ins.

Alpins have wonderful road manners off the snow. They are somewhat ok in snow, probably more than fine for the DC area. RWD+Alpins might be not enough for Placid, Northern Vermont etc...

It's what I had on my M3C and my 330i in DC. Just fine. Better on the M3, actually, because of the LSD.

Thanks. Am leaning toward 19" Alpins. We don't get that much snow here and the majority of time the tires will just be for cold weather.

Yes. The decision tree leans toward dry/cold performance in the DC area. And the Alpins optimize those conditions.
