I kind of want this. (E30 content)

Even though it's an Eta, and has a sunroof.

Looks like a really nice example. I don't think the sunroof is that much of a negative in this car since it's an eta which by itself kind of relegates it to cruiser status.

That is a super nice shell. Would have to rework it mechanically.

Edit: And sunroofs are the next best thing to impossible to avoid on E30s. Only one or two variants were ever even sold without them here. (And notably, the M3 was *not* one of those variants.)

I'm not dogging it for the sunroof because racecar. I'm dogging it because I hate sunroofs. They make noise, and leak, and break, and just generally suck.

I have to admit that I'm actually enjoying having one in the E36. But I enjoy it a lot more knowing that the cartridge is both removable and replaceable, whereas on an E30, it's welded in.

It seems like a nicely preserved example, but what would you do with it?

"I hate sunroofs," makes it sound like it's a non-starter for you and the eta part would be the confirmation you really don't want it.

Would be cool with a newer engine.

Do you have enough parts laying around to throw together a complete m54 for it?

This is a pretty-looking car, as long as you like hennarot (I don't). However, the eta is about as much fun to drive as a bumper car.
