The Durango V6 is rated for 6,200. I think the JGC is similar. Both rated for 25MPG on the highway with the V6 and four wheel drive. With the V8 4x4, it drops to 22. The 4Runner V6 can tow 4,000 and is rated for 21 on the highway.

I stand by my statement that I don't understand why people buy them, but they do, so there you go.

That's a difference of almost 45%.

I've been in and driven the wrangler, and I wouldn't call it a comfortable family hauler.
Your towing capacity information is inaccurate. The current gen 4runner is rated for 4.7k lbs via a correction issued by Toyota. Nobody in their right mind is towing more than a jet ski or a small utility trailer behind either of these anyway; which both are perfectly capable of handling.

I think wranglers are perfectly comfortable.

Hey BB,

When John wrote and complained he (TD) wanted to ban you right off.
Clyde says he has a habbit of going after people he doesn't like.
Cereal is dumb, btw.

I don't see the part that has anything to do with feelings getting hurt. I merely reported inappropriate comments

Though, obviously I'm not the only one who believes you don't add any value

Wow! This thread went . It's just a truck... My previous 4Runner ownership (7 yrs) lead me to want to own another one and primarily for the reasons mentioned above.
