Come on folks, let's be adults. You don't like a certain vehicle or brand, don't buy it. There are tons of people out there that have no desire to own the cars that you drive also and that doesn't automatically make them "wrong".

Fire Sale...

Guys... not a Toyota fanboi here but my dad had a Tacoma for a while and it is virtually no cost of ownership other than oil changes. Very little deprecation and they are as reliable as can be. Not sure if I'd buy one but can't fault someone for buying one.

Toyota trucks/SUVs are slightly less boring than Camrys too.

Should I call you a jackass for not wanting to buy one?

They have excellent resale, from what I've read. I'd be surprised if they were easy on the wallet, though, otherwise.

The Wrangler wouldn't be in the same league as far as being a comfortable family hauler or being able to tow stuff, so it's not really relevant in the current context.

Huh? How do you figure? I guess it's time you define your terms a little better.

Both are 4 door, 6cyl, 5sp auto, and the HP and tow ratings are nearly identical....

You can call me whatever you want.... as long as you're not comparing my choice of cars to someone's decision to abuse his/her spouse

You should consider taking things less seriously

I wasn't taking it that seriously... just saying it wasn't the best comparison. 👍

Wrangler Unlimited: 3500 lbs towing
4Runner (current gen): 5000 lbs

That's a difference of almost 45%.

I've been in and driven the wrangler, and I wouldn't call it a comfortable family hauler.

That's pretty funny coming from someone who complains to the admins when their feelings get hurt here
