No doubt that the F body was the better handling car (as long as you didn’t mind the size), but my point then as now is that the Mustang was the better all around *car.* Amongst many other things, I like to see where I’m going when I drive.

And yeah the 302 was a 4.9. It was still plenty fast, for the time.

Shame about the wing (I assume there are holes in the trunk) but the rest of the gross stuff (steering wheel, pedals, black grilles, stickers) is easily fixed.

I always wonder what horrors exist under the bodywork with these kinds of builds.

I have been to Park Place Motors many times while I lived out in the Seattle suburbs. I would guess this must be an employee's car, because it isn't they type of product they normally sell

Wow. My uncle had a Jetta from that generation when I was younger, and I’ve never been a big enough VW guy to know the details but it looked very much like that and I remember it having seats like that. I bet he’d be shocked to see what this one sold for!
