I know tooooo old and so slow at this point but watch the driving video. That 3.8 and full tilt sounds amazing and looks to be a riot.

No doubt that the F body was the better handling car (as long as you didn’t mind the size), but my point then as now is that the Mustang was the better all around *car.* Amongst many other things, I like to see where I’m going when I drive.

And yeah the 302 was a 4.9. It was still plenty fast, for the time.

Here’s some 30 year old bench racing.

There is a couple of pictures (at the end of the listing pictures) briefly describing the build, but yeah, the builder even states it was in rough shape

Wow. My uncle had a Jetta from that generation when I was younger, and I’ve never been a big enough VW guy to know the details but it looked very much like that and I remember it having seats like that. I bet he’d be shocked to see what this one sold for!

Ha! The car I learned to drive on. Although, ours was not nearly so fancy and was a good deal older by the time my parents bought it used:

1973 Volkswagen Thing 1.9L

Wow, I did not know there was a "stripes delete" on Ford GT's

This really adds to the look of the red ones. IMHO
