Mazda CX-50

Looks like a nice evolutionary step from the CX-5. Although with higher clearance, I wonder if it will handle as well. But, at least some towing capacity (and possibly an available OEM hitch) would be a good thing:

Seats definitely look more comfortable...

it looks nice, but their SUV line up totally confuses me.

Do they still have the:
CX-3, CX-30, CX-5, this new CX-50, CX-9 and the electic version? Seems like a lot of overlap.

I think the thought is the -30, -50, and eventually a -70 and -90 will replace the current fleet.

The other question is, when will the 6 cylinder engine come and which models will benefit from it?

On an SUV, I view them as a plus. I *hate* it when they get slapped on a jacked up car.

Another SUV. Yay. This appears to be an attempt to make the CX-5 more butch? Kinda like the (awful) Subaru Outback XV CrossTrek or whatever they call it these days?

It looks nice enough I suppose. I guess they will sell a bunch of them. Interior looks nice. Yawn.

At least they are not following the Merc/BMW all screens all the time interior.
