And I meant that.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm typically pretty critical of my own abilities and accomplishments but this one I'm genuinely proud of.

The funniest part was when Kevin and I were watching Shelly come out of the showcase on (I forget which day) and thinking something on the car broke...but it was just the traction control doing its job very well.

LOL. In comparison, this is me. I got my remote "smart" thermostat working and it only took three days of vituperative swearing!

At the Optima event last weekend I was standing by the starting line watching Sam as he left on a run. The traction control started cutting power right after he left so it was spitting a bit, then he did a no-lift shift to 2nd and it made some crackling noises as the ECU tried to keep the turbo on boil. The guy next to me said, "that doesn't sound good" and I said it sounded exactly like it should. He gave me a confused look. I think this car is going to generate a lot of confused looks.

Those looks start when they find out there are no rotors in it. Why stop there?

With that crowd, everyone assumed it was LS swapped. One guy (with a 600+hp LS7 C3) asked why it wasn't an LS and I answered "because it's faster this way" and again the confused look.
