How does one see if that is PDK or a manual?

It costs him very little to do it and he seems way richer then he is because he gets 2-3 Ferrari's a year ... basically he pays MSRP and gets MSRP back when he returns the car a few months later.
I have just never been a fan of Ferrari so I’m glad to know this about their business model, but for me personally the manufacturer that is closest to their true Motorsport division is Porsche.

The cool thing about the GT4 RS to me is that Porsche is really now testing just how good mid engine cars can be. Not sure they were willing to do that last generation.

Right. Who knows? It says 6-speed manual in one of the dropdown features list, but sometimes that gets updated to PDK...

I also haven't found a VIN decoder that deciphers anything more than just the basic model info.

Edit: Looked for it in Porsche's website listing for available new cars, but it's not there. This crazy thing is, though:

Plus, there are some other GTS 4.0s around the country...

That detail is so buried. It’s exceedingly difficult to find this level of detail on most listings. It’s a huge time waster when you realize it is “PDK”

For those that were on the fence re: PDLS+ or not, by the time your car gets built, you may be able to get the real Euro style headlights (finally). I'm hopeful that manufacturers will enable the system on cars that were produced before this mandate with all of the technology onboard but dumbed down for the U.S. market.

Have you tried VIN analytics? https://vinanalytics.com/

I did, it was a weird one, they would only show the vin on their paid, premium version. I've only seen that come up on their site maybe 3 times in the hundreds of VIN decodes i've done. I had the google plug in installed when I was shopping for mine, and that would be the first thing I would do. It made it a quick process to ID the PDKs and mis labeled interior / exterior colors on ads.
