Thanks wdc and JV! I ordered the Porsche indoor cover yesterday. Preparing for winter hibernation. I really did not want one, but given any time I wash a vehicle and place it in the garage it ends up getting fairly dust so basically a waste of time to have cleaned it.

Even with dust, washing before putting away uncovered is a good thing because all the crap the wash removes isn't there to potentially bond or etch.

It does look good.

FWIW the Porsche Indoor cover is really nice. I use it when we store the car for the winter (which i think we'll be doing the week of Thanksgiving this year).

True and generally that is what I have done in the past, but come mid to late spring the vehicle(s) end up looking like it has literally sat outside the entire time. We call it the East Tennessee crud. It wreaks havoc on your allergies and sinuses as well.

I have heard good things about the cover. The bad thing about car covers though is that the car needs to be spotlessly clean otherwise you are going to introduce new swirls/marring. That was reason number one as to why I did not want one. Number two is that I like to go out to the garage and occasionally just stare at the car. lol

The 997.1 triangle/pizza slice steering wheel that carried over to early dot twos. The attached pic is not of my car. The Sport Design steering was on some late model dot twos, including the GTS, and early 991.1s.
