I just listened to it. Moral of the story: hold off on buying until the last 2 hours of the month

Well, yeah, if they can make 68K for the store, they’ll lose a few hundred on a few units.

A few hundred. Meh.

I want a 40k truck for 20k. They're still up 48k!

there won't be any issues selling your car in the Spring.

there are enough people who prefer the 6 cylinder Boxster -- I (stupidly) think they will hold their value because the DI flat six motors reached the zenith, IMO.

[obviously the turbo 4 makes for a faster car]

That's encouraging.

I also think that the well-specc'ed and well kept 987.2 and 981.1 's will be the most desirable mid-engined porsches. Especially R/Spyder versions, but also S's. The 987.2's win steering feel and cabin simplicity. The 981's have a bit more outright grip, better brakes and more gadgets in a bigger cabin.

I think you are absolutely correct, i’ve read the 991.1 (which have na engines) are keeping their value ... again like you mention he newer model is faster.

Part of me wants to keep it just because it's special, and see if it goes up in value. But it would likely end up gathering dust, and it's just taking up room in my too-small garage. So there's no point.
