TV never worked for me at all. Well, if the goal was to go at a lazy working pace it was OK-ish. But for a hard workout, no way. I would either concentrate on the show and forget to work hard. Or concentrate on working hard and then be like, "oh wait, why is this stupid show on"

I’ve been vaguely contemplating taking up running. Has to be something that I can do with the puppy.

I followed JVs advice and didn’t buy a 928. I did bid on one. Was prepared to pay 26 + buyer’s premium, but it went for 28 and change. Probably dodged a bullet.

Not the blue one on BAT, right? I will note that my mechanic, with whom I've been working for over 15 years, told me not to buy a 928 unless I was prepared for major work. I still want one!

Yes, the blue one. Honestly it seemed well sorted and 28k is probably more than fair. But I’m balancing my childhood desire to own one against getting rid of the (more reliable, newer, convertible, just as fast) Boxster, and I can only justify so much of a delta.

I mean, there is something to be said for owning a car that is objectively worse. In many ways they are more engaging.

With all the years I worked as a road warrior, I truly have no idea how many cars I have rented in my lifetime. (it is a huge number)

When working in Rock and Roll, the drummer for the Jukes and I decided to rent a 928 for a weekend in LA from one of those exotic rental agencies out there, and share the cost. We had a blast with it.

Without a doubt the best rental car I have ever driven, but I don't think i would want to own a used one
