That's excellent!

Though - what Lexus vehicles offer a limited slip differential? Even the IS-F comes with an open differential.

Maybe I am missing something, but I didn't see anything in the article suggesting that BMW would use this technology across the board, or that it would even use it for RWD vehicles. While it is configurable for RWD or AWD, and while BMW plans to use it, that doesn't mean we will see it on cars like the 335 or 135, where it is most sorely needed. BMW's ///marketing decision to withhold LSDs from these cars appears motivated by a desire to keep M cars special--so why would they reverse that now?

Also, this is hardly new tech--isn't this essentially what Honda's "SH-AWD" system does?

The GX- and LX-470 might. I'm too lazy to go check, though.
