The 4 series revealed

Wow, when Nick said EU passenger safety standards were ruining all cars, he was NOT kidding.

Mostly fine, but the front vent looks pulled right off of a 2008 Focus.

You think this looks bad? I think it looks kinda good for a modern bmw. Fortunately (for my wallet) I'm mostly over bmw's, I can't imagine there is an F-anything in my future, but you never know.

I think it looks great for what it is. equ, I have said the same thing before. Then you drive something else for awhile. And a couple years later you drive that silky smooth six again for some reason. Then you go buy another one. Of course that may not be the case anymore with the new pricing and four cylinder engines.

I like what I see, but I think this is going to have a crack pipe price. They started getting a little expensive with E92 but now that they are going 4-series and are saying it will have similar relationship as 5er and 6er, I think this is going to be very pricey vs. the sedan.

And the sedan is already ridiculously priced.

Yes. If you want a coupe, now is the time to get one.

I'm toying with a 2013 coupe when my lease is up. I'd probably end up getting almost the same car but would get the last model year with a reset on the odometer. I'd expect the deals to be pretty sweet in the spring for E92. Given my crack pipe residual ($40k) I'd be much better off going for a new one, even if I could get a discount on the buyout.

I was going to suggest a 335is, but checking the website it looks like those don't have the N54 anymore, or is that just a spec sheet confusion?

I'm tempted by that too. Prefer AWD for convenience, but the extra performance plus a real suspension would sure be nice. No clue on engine, but I'm almost certain it's still N54 and that the website is likely wrong. Wouldn't be the first time they goofed on something like that, and I see zero reason why BMW would change the engine for the final year of this low volume model.
