I wonder what it's like to drive an Ariel Atom.

Oh wait, that's right. I know, and you don't!

Thanks Terry!

No problem! I'm sorry we didn't get to take it out on good roads with twisties, but here in Hell[pot]hole, NJ there really aren't any - so we settled for a tour of the ghetto.

After I get the Atom prepped for Europe, we should have a 'mudgeons get-together somewhere with better roads.

you really need to get up to Sussex County NJ with that puppy!

I'm near Durango CO right now (they have some great mountain twisties out here! plus it snowed the other day making the mountains look nice again)

If you want, I'll gather some road numbers for you to take a look at.

Sure. My old stomping ground is Ringwood / West Milford. Sometimes I take 23 north to Clinton Road, then down Greenwood Lake Turnpike to Skyline Drive.

I saw an Atom on the road here Tues afternoon... Both passengers had helmets on.

There's a great twisty road in the desert a few miles NE of my house -- I'm betting they were up there. It goes to one of the lakes just outside the city -- and its a pretty empty road during the middle of the week.

First time I've seen one on a street. I've been the fortunate recipient of a quick ride in Terry's, and seen a couple others at Goodwood in both '06 and a couple weeks ago (where they had the new Atom 500 with the V8...)
