Anyway, he came home about five hours later with a new car. And groceries.
That is great. The thought has crossed my mind on occasion...

Is Carvana still doing wild swings in valuing used cars? They had been routinely offering me about 3000-3500 above my residual amount on my 2107 GMC 1500. Yesterday their offer was about 1800 under my residual, with a 3500 dollar "regional market value" hit

I guess the market is volatile for cars what won't be built for another 87 years?

Seriously, I haven't seen anything that extreme on the Camaro since late March. There have only been a handful of moves more than $200 in either direction day-to-day since April and when looking at any range of a couple weeks or more, those swings have been within in the noise of a 7 day moving average on a pretty consistent arc.

This is the oddest variation of Stockholm Syndrome I've ever come across. If you ever make any decision at all here, you'll be lost for the rest of your life.

(I think I told you this what, over a year ago?)

I should run it again in a few days. KBB still has my pick up value much higher than the lease residual.

Clyde is both the hostage and the kidnapper, and his hostage self is starting to successfully gaslight themselves into loyalty to his kidnapper self?

That's pretty fucking awesome. Like, awesome enough to be in a book in the household collection.
