I HATE this Commercial

Since I am recovering, I am home and watching a lot of TV. I keep seeing this commercial and it drives me NUTS.

The end line, "means you are free to drive." If you were DRIVING, instead of being distracted by all that other stuff, you would not need the driving aids.

I was going to post something about that commercial. It is terrible. There is something very strange about the narrative contrast between the tagline and the overall theme of the commercial itself. It seems almost intentionally ridiculous.

another bad one is the nissan commercial where two dicks get into the same looking nissan at work, race home to where they live across the street from each other.

why don't these two dickheads commute together????

Another short lived commercial that was bad is the Lexus F class commercial

While I was growing up, F was not the grade that meant performance

pretty much the only time I see (more like hear) commercials is during the day on CNBC. Otherwise, everything is time-shifted.

I thought this was going to be about the DirecTV spots featuring creepy-ass computerized marionettes touting wireless cable boxes. I hate those even worse.

Also was wondering why the mega-exensive coupe that you could only lease was shown in that ad (is that the LFA?). Didn't they only produce a few hundred and its now out of production? If so, why is it in the ad?

The worst thing about it, is that they can't be unseen. I'll forever wonder what possessed a normal-appearing human man to think that marrying someone with strings going up to...somewhere...was a good idea.
