Yes, generally 7 years. With the caveat that tires may have a shorter lifespan when they live outside.

The large Discount Tire store in my town will fix any flat/puncture on/off you car for free. Yes, free! As long as the tire is 6 years old or newer.

After 6 years they won't touch it, unless it is to break it down for a new tire.

Also, this was always an active topic in the life of full time RV'ers. 6 years was the RV rule too

And I am currently shopping 4 tires for my GMC, 6 years old, but only 22K miles on them

I replaced mine last year. Never had a puncture, but there were some noticeable nicks. They were also about 7-8 yo.

Multiple vehicle owner. We also rent a bus, suburban/expedition when traveling to the SC low country.
