I really appreciate the CT5-V, but yeah the ADM on them is supposed to be nuts. And my issue with the V8 Cadillacs for a while now is that they just have too much power. I don’t need a blower in a car like that. Give me that platform with the N/A Corvette motor—that’s plenty.

I agree. It's too much.

Additionally, I can't speak for how it drives, but I can tell you that as much as I liked the M3, in ZCP form, the suspension was too firm. I hear the same about the M5. It may be ok if you must have a car to do it all, but with a sportscar on the side, there is no reason to make that level of compromise, personally.

Lack of MT aside, I think the MXXX BMW's, quasi AMG MB's and S Audis are becoming the better cars. Still a bunch of performance but without insane pricing, overly firm suspensions, etc.

I'd happily dial back power for a MT and great steering, but that is just not in the cards anymore. For my commute, that doesn't matter that much either.

Suspension is something GM is really good at though with their magentic ride shocks. I'd expect that the CT5 blackwing has a better ride than any of its german competitors...

But yeah...it's going to be a very niche car since most who can afford this and want it would likely prefer to have a dedicated sports car + an everyday car.
