They are strongly reminiscent of wheels used on various Mustangs in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Including the infamous TRX wheels: Given the Probe GT's original intended role as a successor to the Mustang, it's probably not a coincidence that the first Probe GT had wheels that echoed that theme. Anyway, they look all wrong on the M3, which IMHO should only ever have either the M Spoke II wheels or the M Contour wheels. And the white interior is gross. And why would you put that much motor into a convertible? But I like the color. Reminds me of my parents' old '89 Probe GT, which I wrecked. |
