I'm going to assume it was not representative for some reason and check out a copy over at King one night this week. Or maybe it was me.

I drove a dark blue one over at Tysons. And there are black and white copies (per the link) at the same price point at King. Thoughts on color? My daughter actually likes the white but that would make it very visually similar to my former Golf R.

I'm sorry, I know, heritage and all, but that plaid is ugly and ridiculous.

Otherwise it's a great looking car!

I haven't actually driven a new GTI, so I dunno on the dynamics.

I'd prob get blue, but in my experience white GTIs make good first cars.

Love the blue and the interior. If the cat is any indication, congrats on the white though

That is the first non-positive review of the mk7 GTI I've seen.

Which is why I am inclined to think something was wrong, either with me or the car. It just seemed sooooo sluggish. Which makes no sense compared to my reference point of the prior-gen Golf R. I'm eager to drive another one. The prices are so ridiculous that I can't see not taking advantage.

Hopefully, just something with the car.

That's the wrongest thing you've ever said.
