Maybe the bolsters are more prominent and vulnerable? But I've noticed that too. I would add that the leather in our 7-year-old X5 still looked new when we sold it.

leather sucks, sticky when hot and wears like crap. Give me cloth anyday, hell even take leatherette since at least I don’t have to worry about wear.

M cars generally get higher end leather.

That's not always good though. The sport leather in my M5 seems to age WAY better then the heritage leather that was an extra cost option.

I love Imola so much, if an F80 M3 were closer to my dream car I'd drop the 5k and get it it through Individual.
