I saw a Fisker Karma on the NJ Turnpike last night. (Western spur southbound, around Ridgefield Park)

There is a white one that lives in the North Shore area (northern tip of Lk Washington just north of Seattle) that I see from time to time. Every time I see it I can't help thinking "poor sucker, how are you going to keep that thing serviced and maintained?"

Exactly. It was dark when I saw that one last night, but it also struck me that I think it looks a lot better in pictures than in real life.

speaking of looking better in pictures . . .Tiguan was in for its first service today. While waiting, I walked next door to the Jeep dealer, who had a bunch of those new Cherokees.

As bad as those pictures were of the new Cherokee front end, it is worse in person.

Huh..... I hate to say it but the new Cherokee is sort if growing on me . . . but only the Trailhawk edition. However, I haven't seen it in person yet. What intrigues me about it (the Trailhawk version) is that it gives a bit more than a typical SUV without going too nuts. It's something I've been thinking about for a bit.

Trailhawk versions come with an extra 1" of suspension lift, rear locker, and some other goodies. Personally, I'd be more comfortable with a 2" lift and some tougher tires (MT's). But whatever.

Anyways, as much as I didn't like it when I first read about it or saw the first pictures I'm wanting to give it a chance to see how well it does.

That's the lobby of Cobo Hall during this year's NAIAS--I saw that very car.
