Ok basically the engine and transmission are from the base 911 but the gearing is shorter ... are there other differences that would make this car feel like a NA car ? I watched the video a few days ago and being so ADD I don’t see why I wouldn’t get a base over the T ... not that I’m getting either one because I am waiting for the 992 but I’m just saying |

Amazing. Looks fun doesn’t it? The only thing I’d say is: it’s that much fun to drive a 987 on a backroad. Maybe more so. But if you’re a 911 person (I am), the 911 T looks terrific.

With how fast these things depreciate it kind of blows my mind that anybody buys them new.

Unless you buy it new and then sell it in 2 years the depreciation isn't horrible. With that said the smart move is to buy a 2 to 3 year old one, no doubt you lose a let less money. |

Say you buy a car for $100k. You bought at a good discount off msrp so you're able to sell it 2 years later for $80k, and you lost $20k. But in NY you also paid $8,800 in tax bumping the cost of ownership up to $29k. That's a 50% increase in cost of ownership. It's ridiculous. |
