Hey, some guy just paid $90k for a 30 year old Bronco on BAT so maybe $25k over sticker on one of these isn’t THAT crazy.

So if I put these two statements together, I am supposed to pay 25K over MSRP, then not drive it for 30 years, then hope to auction it off to help my retirement? (if I'm even alive in 30 years

Yes, exactly. Put it in one of those bags in your garage. Pay insurance on it for 30 years. Then sell it for $50k or $100k more than you paid for it (!!) and brag online about how much money you made!!*

*completely ignoring the opportunity cost of what you would have made on that money over 30 years even at only 3% or 4% return.
