It is true. There aren't many car pictures getting taken in this location.

Old-ish pic, but I think a lot of you haven't seen this, for front of house car shoot context.

They are great looking cars.

If you've ever sat in an air cooled 911, you've basically sat in a 993.

OTOH, because I know where Nick lives, I also now know where that is and nothing will be stopping me from driving my own car down there for photos.

Except the not having a car to do it with part.
It’s a great place. I was able to visit there pre-COVID.

Just to build on Nick's pic. Here is a comparison from the opposite angle.

Not sure that I'd want a 993 cab.

And then you have to keep in mind that Josh needs to have a cabrio that can be parked outside. Frequently not a great experience with older 'verts.

It's cool, but my issue with the air cooled 911 value run-up is that it would be so much harder to live with day to day than my current car, and would cost a lot more.

At this point, I'm resigned to the idea that I won't ever get a 911, unless maybe I can talk myself into a nice 997 at some point.

I actually think the 991s will probably depreciate more if those are of interest. I'd probably hold out for a 991.2 for the steering improvement. One of my neighbors has a 991 targa 7spd and it's awesome.

An occasional use third car would be harder to live with day to day?
