Only has 3 years of warranty on it since it has been sitting for so long, but 3 years is better than nothing.

Seems like a solid deal, especially if there's room to negotiate, but I'm not sure a non-S is really what I want...and this was more than I had in mind to pay. Reactions appreciated.
What's going on? Did I miss a perseveration thread? Are you selling the mini or the M if you get a porsche?

If you are keeping both M & mini, and want a porsche as a 3rd car, I would not recommend the 911, definitely stay boxster/cayman. Do lots of S & non-S drives to see what works for you. I do like the 5-speed non-S, especially when you already have a seriously fast car like the M. But then the S is pretty nice as well. I think about a new M often, but then reason takes over... Too much overlap with the cayman, and expected self-flagellation due to v8 ownership. I wouldn't sell it if I had one though. It is just an awesome bmw.

Actually, the color combo in your link plus the 3 MYs of newness is definitely worth the extra $1k.

That's the car I drove that started this whole thing. Not a fan of white, especially over blue.

If you do, drop me a line--we can have lunch or something. Our new house is walking distance to BMW/Porsche of Arlington.

No, the M stays. Whether the Mini would stay or go is kind of up in the air, as is this whole exercise, really. We don't NEED to have two cars capable of holding three people, but in all honesty getting a Boxster would mean driving a 3 year old to school every day in the front seat of a 987 whether or not I got rid of the Mini (because, seriously, wouldn't you rather take the Porsche?). Which probably wouldn't win me father of the year honors.
