Oh well, so she's not a 'mudgeon.
I can relate my daughter who turns 17 in a few weeks asked me the other day while we were in the 911 why do I have this car ?? It rides really hard, it's too loud, it bounces back and forth between shifts and it isn't the greatest looking car.

I seriously was laughing my ass off

Wdc ... big time congrats ... what a great looking car. It just loooks like a fun to drive car !!

I can't believe it came with non run flats ... is that down as an option on the window sticker or do they all come with non run flats ... do you have a spare ?

There are a number of no-cost options on wheels and tires--run-flat, non-runflat, all seasons, staggered, etc. All-seasons are run-flat only.

No spare (although you can order one and try to jam it in your trunk.)

It comes with a mobility kit.

The non-runflat summers came on the car. I will probably switch them out in the fall for some non -run-flat Pilot A/S 3+, which I like a lot on my wagon. I hate the run-flat options. AAA and the mobility kit--and crossed fingers.

No worries. I am amused by the Rumattinator exchange.

Enjoy! I'm missing my convertible… I'll get another one some day.

As for Atlanta summers, they really are not that bad. But I'm from Phoenix ;-)

is the wind deflector (the screen that folds up from the back seat) worth it? I've often thought about picking one up, but never pulled the trigger. It folds up pretty small and fits nicely in the trunk, right?

It actually came with the car. We also had one for the M3 (that I bought for $$), and it makes all the difference in colder weather--especially at higher speeds.

Yes. Folds up much smaller than the e46 version.

I had one on my E36 M3. It did make a difference.

Edit: Also waiting for driving impressions. Beautiful car!! Love the colors.
