Don't care. And the F1 isn't that good looking either.

$3.3M for such a narrowly focused and limited purpose machines is engineering masturbation taken to an orgasm of specs and numbers that crust over in a discarded tissue in the corner of the garage where it will sit doing nothing.

I wonder what the fan sounds like, and how intrusive it is. Probably can't hear it much over that engine, I guess.

Yeah, I'm going to need a comprehensive driving vid.

I mean, I imagine more than a few of them will be driven. And he's building 25 racing versions, so it's likely some of them will get raced, too.

Your complaint about specs and numbers is oddly aimed here, though, given that the whole point of this car isn't to set absolute lap times/acceleration/top speed figures. If you want that, there are plenty of manufacturers playing that game.

Looks to me like the fan is inside the car. Those blades that you can see look fixed.

I would be more excited about a Porsche or BMW making a proportionately expensive, old-school, driver-focused car in the sub 100k range, but those never end up selling well enough to the masses.

The Alfa 4C was a bit of that, no? Didn't sell so well. Ditto the Elise, etc.

Pretty interesting and in-depth interview with Gordon Murray about the car. Its long so plan to do chores or something while you listen.
