We paid about 23.5k for a new S (with a strong GTI trade-in). Our GTI Sunroof started having issues at 3+ years, right after it went out of warranty. Avoiding that sunroof was a big reason for C to choose a basic S instead of the SE or SEL.

I really don’t want to deal with a leaky sunroof, as this car may spend sometime parked outdoors. |

That's a nice find. Looking at the carfax, and under 5K miles, lease in both Tenn and Illinois. I'm guessing it was a corporate VW car. So it has all the bells and whistles.

Yeah that’s crazy - I’d much rather have the a4 wagon in that price range. I think the appeal of the golf wagon is more when it’s in equ’s spec: no frills and manual. But I also think there’s no way the dealer is getting anywhere near the asking price for that golf wagon. I’ve perused Audi forums and haven’t seen many sunroof complaints. Pretty sure all those panoramic roofs are made by the same supplier. Anyway if it’s CPO you’ll get a few years worth of warranty in case it does turn out that there’s a design flaw that gets corrected in later revisions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah those a4 all roads seem like much better deal figuring they were 50kish new.
My a4 sunroof had a bad sensor that caused it to open and close but that was a long time ago. I avoid sunroofs nowadays. Only my turbo has one and that was not my choice. |

If I didn’t already have a convertible, I’d want some sort of sunroof in my car. But, with it, I don’t see the need.

My 2000 a4 sunroof sprung a little leak around 2003-04, or perhaps it was a clogged drain. Not sure as it was parked out its whole life... My later audis 04 S4 avant, 10 a4 and 14 s4 did not have sunroof leaks.

Totally. All the BMW fanboys frown on me getting a sunroof on my M2. Whatever.

Love the color on the second allroad.
I thought you really wanted a three pedal, that changed?
